Open to every child, Abriendo Puertas offers one of the most comprehensive Out of School Programs in Miami-Dade County. It not only offers childcare after school, but a full array of educational and recreational activities to make it “the best choice for your children”

    The program operates Monday thru Friday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm and on days when schools are out and during winter recess from 7:30am to 6:00pm.  

    We provide the following services and activities  for grades K thru 12:















 

  • Homework Assistance/Tutoring.

  • Computer Lab.

  • Dance/Fitness.

  • Martial Arts .

  • Fieldtrips.

  • Arts & Crafts.

  • Special Holiday Activities.

  • Yearly Dance Recital .

  • Daily Snack.

  • Breakfast, Lunch & Snack (during full days).

  • Life Skills training program.

  • Full day of services on teacher planning days, school recess and most national holidays.

  • All children participating in our after-school program are eligible for our Summer Camp Program at no additional cost.
